At GRIT, we’re creating a pathway to careers for girls that they may have never imagined, and a community that will cheer them on every step of the way. By engaging girls early through practical learning, mentorship, and teamwork, we help them see themselves not just as participants, but as future leaders, innovators, and changemakers in the construction industry.
We empower girls ages 10–14 through hands-on workshops in the skilled trades – from masonry, electrical and carpentry work to welding, mechanics, and design. Together, we’re shaping a future where every girl knows she has the power and the skills to build her own path.
At GRIT, we’re not just teaching trade skills – we’re building resilience, creativity, and self-belief. Each workshop is an opportunity for girls to explore new possibilities, discover their strengths, and connect with insipiring women in the trades.
We want every girl to walk away feeling confident, capable, and like she truly belongs and could see herself working one day in this industry.
